Derek and I wanted to get sealed in Utah at the beginning of Aug. He only got to stay for 5 days and I stayed the whole month. The first few days were spent going to Salt Lake Temple, shopping, visiting with friends and family.
August 6th Derek and I went to Mount Timpanogos temple and were sealed. We actually didn't get any pictures of us at the temple. Then off to the BBQ

After the BBQ Derek and I went and spent some time with his family. It was great to see everyone. Too bad it was a short visit.
Then it was time for Derek to get back to Alaska and I had 3 more weeks to Utah. After a tearful goodbye I headed up to Bear Lake.
My family rented a cabin up in bear lake. Usually there is lots of beach up there at the lake but it showed a lot and most beaches were under water. But we found want that was pretty fun. We rented a jet ski too.
After Bear Lake I said goodbye to all of my family except my brother. Then Gina had a baby shower and Tricia had a wedding reception. Which I thought I had some pictures but I guess I don't.
Then I spent a few days up near Login at Jenn's parents house. It was a nice time.
This picture of Bennett is from Lake Powell but he's Jenn's so I thought I would put it here.
Then we are off to Lake Powell for a week. I love going to Powell and it's great going with Gina and Jenn and their families. This trip was more low key I didn't do a whole lot of tubing and no attempting to ski this time. But it was great. I missed Derek a lot that week. I don't know how people go a lot time without their spouses.
While I was in Utah I went on a hike in Big cottonwood canyon with uncle Jerry, Tricia, Adam, and Matt.
